  • THE KEY DIFFERENCE TO THE TASTE IN YOUR CUP

The Baratza Encore is the ultimate entry-level grinder for your craft coffee journey and is an essential item for every home coffee drinker. With a tried and true performance, the Encore has built a reputation for reliability and consistency. Built with commercial-grade conical burrs that allow you to explore an extensive range of brew methods and recipes.

Straightforward controls make your daily routine simple and easy. Load up your hopper with your favorite beans, turn the hopper to the grind setting you want, switch the Baratza Encore on and let the precision conical burrs deliver consistent, quality ground coffee every time.

Beyond a great coffee-making experience, the Encore lets you explore new coffee flavors. With 40 individual grind settings, you can find the perfect grind size for all brewing methods. The hopper can hold 8 ounces of whole beans, and the clear grounds bin has a fill line to indicate how much to grind.

The Encore's 40 mm, European-made, conical burrs will grind for many styles of coffee and will remain sharp for many years. Turn the hopper and with 40 settings and a grind range from 250 to 1200 microns, you can quickly adjust from fine for espresso to coarse for French Press. The Encore uses a combination of gear and electronic speed reduction to control the rotation of the burr to 550 RPM. This slow speed reduces heat, noise, and static generation in the grinder. It also ensures that the beans feed smoothly into the burrs.

Great for french press, pour overs, cold brews or anything that requires more of a medium-coarse grind. It's a good investment especially if you're just starting out with home brew and looking for a good performance - decently priced grinder!

was previously using the Cuisinart DBM-8C whose grind was all over the place, everything from fine to medium in one grinding session. There was no way to tune it in. The Barazza's grind is much more consistent, therefore easier to get a sweeter or more extracted cup. Yes you can have control over what the beans will provide. Really happy with it.

Best bang for buck burr grinder

Does exactly what it says on the tin, exceptional quality for the investment. If I had to give a negative it would be that it is somewhat loud but I imagine most of the alternatives are similar.

Great for Aeropress and Chemex

Purchased this grinder as a faster option to my Porlex Tall II, which is still a great grinder, but takes a while when you are making a couple pour over brews in the morning. The Encore is fast and makes great tasting coffee. I like that it comes with recommended grind settings specifically for Chemex and Aeropress. It isn’t very staticky either, which I have noticed is a problem for some other burr grinders.

Perfect for home coffee brewing

Good grinder, noticed a taste difference from my old flat burr grinder right away. This grinder goes much coarser than any other grinder I've had before, which is nice for french press. On consistency, it's a big improvement as there's no powder, but it's not perfect in this area as there are still some bigger chunks in the grounds each time.

Happy with our purchase.

Our old burr grinder was not working well, so we replaced it with this one. We were happy that it arrived quickly and worked well, but what surprised us was the improvement in the taste of our coffee. We are happy with our purchase.
