The Baratza Encore is the ultimate entry-level grinder for your craft coffee journey and is an essential item for every home coffee drinker. With a tried and true performance, the Encore has built a reputation for reliability and consistency. Built with commercial-grade conical burrs that allow you to explore an extensive range of brew methods and recipes.

Straightforward controls make your daily routine simple and easy. Load up your hopper with your favorite beans, turn the hopper to the grind setting you want, switch the Baratza Encore on and let the precision conical burrs deliver consistent, quality ground coffee every time.

Beyond a great coffee-making experience, the Encore lets you explore new coffee flavors. With 40 individual grind settings, you can find the perfect grind size for all brewing methods. The hopper can hold 8 ounces of whole beans, and the clear grounds bin has a fill line to indicate how much to grind.

The Encore's 40 mm, European-made, conical burrs will grind for many styles of coffee and will remain sharp for many years. Turn the hopper and with 40 settings and a grind range from 250 to 1200 microns, you can quickly adjust from fine for espresso to coarse for French Press. The Encore uses a combination of gear and electronic speed reduction to control the rotation of the burr to 550 RPM. This slow speed reduces heat, noise, and static generation in the grinder. It also ensures that the beans feed smoothly into the burrs.

Great Grind

The Encore is a great grinder. This is actually my second Encore that I use at the cottage. I highly recommend the Encore to anyone looking for a consistent grind. Also, very pleased with Eight Ounce Coffee’s delivery service.

Great product!

Grinds are very consistent, not a loud as I thought, taking out grind from holder can be messy, but overall, really great product! Customer service from eight ounce coffee is top notch too! Thanks for addressing my concerns.

So Far So Good

We've used a blade grinder for many years and the results have been all over the map as far as coffee taste results. After reading the various online suggestions for creating a good cup of coffee, we finally decided to take the plunge and get a burr grinder. So far the consistency of every brew has been great. We use a French Press and like are coffee fairly strong so we are now in the process of adjusting amounts to get it just right. So far so good.

Best Value Grinder out There

We bought this to replace our old Solis Maestro grinder that was the Baratza's predecessor.
That grinder lasted 15 years!
There are a few refinements with the newer Baratza but, they have the same basic design.
So far we are very happy & if the longevity of this grinder is anything like the previous one it's a bargain.

Buying from Eight Ounce was a pleasure & with the bonus of being able to support a local company.

Expensive but worth it

The Baratza Encore grinder was a splurge but by grinding my own beans I'll get a tasty quality brew which will save money because I won't be going to the pricey coffee shop down the street anymore. It was easy to assemble although the gasket didn't seem to want to stay in place, and the warning not to tear it was intimidating. Once done, I appreciate the many grind settings and the uniformity of the grounds. No regrets.

Bees knees

Easy to adjust, perfect grind everytime, and it looks great on the counter (small footprint too).
I'm coming off about a decade using a hand grinder that I do love but am getting tired of cranking every morning.
