I got the smoke and amber. This was my first order from Eight Ounce Coffee supply. I wish that there would have been a closer inspection before shipping so maybe I could have gotten one without defects. there seems to be a foreign object stuck inside the glass. It doesn't look like an air bubble.
As for design, I would say that is ergonomic, but favours people with bigger hands. One benefit is that it is definitely sturdy and could withstand some rough handling, but the thickness of the glass also makes it a little less elegant. It doesn't feel as delicate as I thought it would and as it looked in the picture. I'm thinking along the lines of 5.4oz Duralex Picardie cortado glasses, my favourite cortado glasses to-date. I got a set of 2 for $50 CAD at Cafe Kitsune (with their logo) in Garosu-gil in Seoul (Gangnam district, Sinsa sub-district). 10 for a set of 4, 25 for a set of 12. I find the duralex glasses look better with the Cafe's logo than alone, however. for some reason, it looks too cheap plain. And I guess that's where the notNeutral vero glasses stand out, is the ability to have that smoke, amber, or rose. That vintage look is great, and even better paired with long oval serving dishes, such as glossy stainless steel in silver or or matte black. I have gold rimmer dark green and black oval serving dishes both large and small with gold trims around the edges. Combined with a dessert cake or breakfast pastry and these glasses, you really have a great presentation set.
These glasses are stackable without getting stuck (according to my testing), but I wouldn't recommend it just because of the straight edges.
My next purchase will likely be to complete my collection and get the espresso, cortado (since the size is different, and for the colour!), and cappuccino glasses.
