Make very good coffee with out the fuss

This full immersion brewer gives great cups consistently.

But if you prefer larger cups gets the 300ml version

Great dripper

The Switch permits one to mix pourover and immersion techniques and makes brewing a great cup of coffee incredibly easy. It’s a must have dripper!

Great tool for your arsenal

I really like the normal Hario V60, and this gives you the additional option to do immersion brews. This is the best immersion brewer for my use case.

Nice hybrid brewer

Really like the hybrid concept and being able to experiment with mixing pourover and immersion in the same brew.

Good compliment to my Aeropress for when I want the pourover taste.

I prefer Cafec "Medium Roast" filters to the included Hario filters.

Brian P. (Alberta, Canada)

So good I bought a second one for my dad!

Good Hybrid Addition to My Coffee Gear

I’ve only had the Switch for about two weeks and like it a lot. It’s like a French Press and a pour over in one easy package. I was initially a bit disappointed that it only makes one cup, but I’m ok with that now; I make two cups using different beans for comparison, and a fast electric kettle rather than my Fellow goose neck on a gas cooktop. The filters that come with it fit perfectly, I’m guessing they’re Hario 01. I use a ratio of 70g coffee per litre of water. I’ve found through experiment that grinding 19g of beans on an ODE 1.1 set at 2, and pouring 270g of water yields 240ml of coffee = 1 US cup. 270ml is right to to the very top of the filter/glass. I prefer Origami filters over Hario filters, and tried Origami 01 filters but they are smaller than the Hario 01. The Origami are still useable by filling to their top, letting it stew for two minutes, releasing some into the cup, and then pouring more water to get to 270ml and releasing that at 3 minutes.
