Warranties, Returns and Exchanges


For any and all returns/exchanges, please contact us at hello@eightouncecoffee.ca prior to shipping anything back to us. We can't guarantee you'll be eligible for a refund if you ship something to us without a prior contact, and should you be inelegible for a refund, you will be responsible for the cost of shipping the product back to you.

We work pretty hard to make sure that you'll love everything you buy from us, but should you end up with something you're not 100% happy with, you have 30 days from the date of purchase to return it for a full refund, minus the cost of shipping. We'd like to say "no questions asked", but we'll probably ask out of curiosity and so that we can continually improve our product lines! In these situations, we appreciate you sending back as much of the original packaging as possible. We also ask that you package the item(s) as carefully as possible, as we can't provide refunds for items that don't arrive intact and undamaged. If you would like to return something that doesn't meet the 30 day requirement, send us an email and we'll do our best to help you out.

Espresso Machine Returns

Returns are accepted up to 30 days from the date the order was shipped. Once a return is initiated, we will send along drain and repackaging instructions. Machines MUST be returned in original packaging. If you don't have the original packaging, it can be purchased and mailed to you ($55.00). Machines that are used will be charged a restocking fee of 20% of the purchase price.

Packaging of Returns and Restocking Fee

Please be sure to package the items you are returning in the same way that you received them. Items damaged in return shipping due to inadequate or incorrect repackaging may be charged a restocking fee of up to 20% of the purchase price. We also reserve the right to assess and charge a restocking fee if the product is dirty or wet.

To make a return simply contact hello@eightouncecoffee.ca. We will respond with the necessary repackaging instructions and/or email you a return label, which you can print and attach to the return package. If you don’t have a printer available we can mail the return label to you.

Once we receive your return package it will be inspected and a refund will be issued to your card, minus the return shipping fee or restocking fee (if any). We will notify you via email after your items are received and after we have credited your card. You are of course free to use your own shipping method to return the item to us if you’d like. If you are sending back an espresso machine, please package it the same way you received it and insure it for the full retail value. If the item isn’t insured and is damaged in shipping, we may not be able to credit you for the full amount.


All of our products come with at least a one-year warranty against factory defect. Should a product you've purchased from us or one of our authorised resellers stop working properly due to a defect, please let us know as soon as possible. We'll likely need to see a photo/video of the defect, as well as an original proof of purchase. Once we've verified the defect and the purchase date, we can work on a solution to suit your individual situation. 


We don't do straight across exchanges, but if you change your mind or realize that you've ordered the wrong product after it's shipped, we'll happily accept a return (see first section, above). From this point, you're free to place a new order for the desired product either immediately, or once you receive your refund - it's up to you!
