The Refisa washing station is located in the western part of the Arsi region of Ethiopia. More than 390 small producers participate in the creation of this batch by bringing their carefully picked coffee cherries to the washing station. The producers cultivate several ancestral varieties. For this batch, the grains selected are mainly Kurume and Welisho varieties.

With the help of our importer Apex, a premium price is paid for this coffee. Part of the money will be used to establish a local school for the children in the area and to improve the infrastructure of the washing station. We love this coffee for the sweetness it brings to our mornings. Nice notes of peach, white tea, honey and a sweetness reminiscent of honey.
