I never heard of Friedhats from Amsterdam but I'm immediately hooked; very stoked and impressed. I ordered a Guatemalan coffee filter blend, from Huehuetenango region, that showcases hard work of women farmers. Micaela Jacinto possess traditional earthy and dark chocolate aromas and tasting notes. Prepared through filter/pour over method. Again, cup had strong chocolatey notes, creamy ganache, and dark berry and sweet candied dried fruit.
AND... bonus points for the awesome and reusable packaging - Friedhats sells their coffee in thick plastic jars; great for reusing and storing MORE coffee!
