Very nice!

Still very fresh and first time trying it as espresso (using a DF83 and Europiccola currently, 16g in about 26g out)
I did two different roasts in an Ikawa Home roaster,
one Espresso light-medium ++ and the other roast Filter Light-Medium ++ (+ indicates development time out of 1-3).
I thought both roasts were actually pretty similar, out of that grinder and machine I managed to get some very nice smooth shots, they had low body, and actually got a good amount of Earl Grey tea flavour notes, which I enjoyed. I got some astringency with the filter roast today (but I think the Europiccola just ran a bit too hot that time, shot temperature was actually noticeably warmer than usual), still enjoyed both. I'm not an expert in roasting, so can't comment if I would have gotten more complex or intricate fruit notes such as peaches or yellow cherry etc with some other roasting parameters. Also I didn't remember the notes when trying the coffee, maybe I'll look for peaches next time I think they MIGHT be there, but earl grey tea was the first thing that came to mind. DF83 isn't the highest flavour clarity grinder either, but I like the results.
Anyway, I'm stringent with my ratings and rarely give 5 stars. It was really good, just pricey for green unroasted coffee.
