It can be a joyful and relaxing part of your morning, whether it's just how you start your morning routine or an essential part of your daily mindfulness practice. And whatever you're brewing with, it needs to make delicious coffee and please the eye while it's working its magic. That's where this carafe set comes in, the organic form of the glass combined with a stainless steel filter that extracts coffee oil and brings out richness and aroma in the brewed coffee hits both of those marks.

    We recommend a Medium grind for the coffee beans. The ground coffee can be put directly in the filter, and the filter can be used repeatedly by washing. Very fine coffee particles may pass through the filter, but this is a characteristic of the stainless steel filter and contribute to more body.

    A mark on the carafe indicates 2 cups of dripped coffee. The holder can be used to measure the amount of coffee beans as well as to place the filter after use. Marks on the holder indicate 10g and 20g of coffee beans. All parts are stackable for compact storage.

  • Caring for the Coffee Carafe:

    Use only for its intended purposes. Do not overheat in the microwave or heat without water. Wash with care. Do not use abrasive cleansers or steel wool. Sudden temperature change may break or shatter the product. While the glass is hot, do not pour cold liquids into it and do not place it on a wet cloth or a wet surface. Product size and shape varies in each item due to manufacturing process. Maximum temperature differential: 120℃ / 248℉

    Caring for the Steel Filter:

    Do not use in a microwave. When using a dishwasher, avoid force and weight applied to the filter. Do not place near open flames. Wash with care. Do not use abrasive cleansers or steel wool. To prevent rust, immediately wash and dry well after use. Store it away from other metals. Upper temperature tolerance 100℃ / 212℉

Nice little dripper!

Still dialling in the grind size, as I know there is much more potential from this than what I've seen so far, but this has become a go-to daily driver for me. I often prefer a stainless steel filter, and this is so easy to clean and set up that it's immediately what I gravitate towards in the morning for that first cup of the day. Big fan of every Kinto product I've purchased.

Perfect for the 1-cup adventurer

The perfect addition to a delightful morning routine before a busy day. Easy to clean and retains just enough of the French-press like mouthfeel I love in a good cup of coffee. Still working on dialling in the right grind, but the cups it has produced have been well extracted and enjoyable.

I love my Kinto

I love my Kinto slow coffee style carafe. I use this item everyday at the office, and get compliments on its style and minimal design. My favourite feature of this slow coffee style is that it’s zero waste, simply compost the beans! I’ll be using this carafe and filter for many years.
