More about La Colmenita:
Finca La Colmenita, or "The Beehive," sits on a narrow and steep mountain slope with an amazing view. When Francisco Cardona Martin bought La Colmenita in 2002, he had a vision: to produce the best quality coffees possible, by planting varieties known for excellence in separation, and investing heavily in equipment and farming techniques. Francisco is incredibly resourceful. For example, he started drying his coffee on a patio he built on top of his house and re-investing nearly all the profits from sold coffee back into his farm. He often attends cuppings with QC teams in Huehue to develop his skills and to improve his growing and drying techniques.
