Located at a high altitude of 2200m, many young producers have settled in Quitupamba. This lot is a blend of several farms who all work with Apex Coffee and Co-Op Especiales to improve their techniques and quality. This coffee is syrupy and nuanced, reminding us of concord grapes and berries. A great middle ground between exotic and approachable coffees, this one is fruity and rich.

This family-owned roasterie was founded in 2015 with 16-year-old Keegan Street roasting as a hobby from the rooftop of his family home in Fernie, BC. A year later, the family took the leap, got a commercial drum roaster and haven’t looked back since. Today, Rooftop roasts and brews coffee in the heart of historic downtown Fernie in their newly opened coffee bar/roasterie. Their current HQ is actually located below the roof where it all started! Though they’ve now moved down to the ground floor, they still feel the same excitement every time they open a fresh bag of green coffee.
