Aricha town in Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia is well known in the coffee community, and for good reason. Grown at altitudes of over 2000-2200m, 1200 smallholder farmers surrounding the washing station deliver their freshly picked cherries to the station, where they are carefully tended to on raised beds for 4-6 weeks. This naturally processed coffee has a very syrupy body, with the tart sweetness of raspberry the finish reminds us of a rich dark chocolate truffle.
