The name of Flora's farm'Las Gemelas' translates to 'the twins', named after Flora's twin daughters. They are the reason why she is working every day on her land. Flora started as a producer approximately 30 years ago alongside her husband. After ten years, her husband passed away, and since, Flora has single handledly managed both the farm and her household. This was a tough challenge, but with her dedication and perseverance, she showed that it is possible to improve both the livelihoods of herself and her children. The Las Gemelas farm is located in El Pajal village in Huehuetenango contains Caturra, Paches, Bourbon and Catuai varieties.
