About the coffee
A varietal selection of Kurume and Welisho, this coffee comes to us from the Refisa washing station located in the western part of the Arsi Administrative Zone. The remote station, built-in 2015, receives both wildly grown and cultivated cherries from the Harenna Forest on the slopes of Bale Mountain.

This offering from Refisa is a wonderful demonstration of the increased transparency possible in Ethiopia throughout recent years. Direct work with mills and washing stations has been subject to relaxed restrictions leading to more accountability, veracity, and specificity of varieties, origin, and washing station/mill.
