About the coffee
Established only 5 years ago and totalling a single hectare, Finca Los Angeles, located in Narino, is both very new and very small. It is run by the Gomez brothers, Franco and Jose, who work tirelessly to produce the highest quality specialty coffee they can in order to both provide for their families, and also to connect with people outside of their village. Upon picking, they transport their cherries to a wet-mill outside the nearby town of Buecaso to de-pulp and process their coffee. The natural processing of this Gesha variety was carefully controlled by slowing down the fermentation process and drying the cherries on covered raised beds for 20 days.
