Customers praised this Ethiopian natural coffee for its "balanced, smooth, delicate" profile with prominent strawberry and berry notes. Many described it as "sweet and juicy" with "delicate white sugar sweetness." Great for V60, espresso, and iced pour overs. Some found it less fruity than expected or darker roasted than anticipated, with a few struggling to achieve consistent results.

Manhattan - can't go wrong

Really nice brew. Smooth, round, slightly sweet with a faint nutty quality. Manhattan is one of the best. If you haven't already tried their products, you really can't go wrong.

Balance

The coffee smells very aromatic after brewing, and when you drink it, the flavour is well balanced—fragrant, sweet, and pleasantly acidic.

Very good, juicy cup

Darker than I was expecting but nails the flavor notes and very tasty.

Complex and delicious

This vibrant anaerobic natural from Ethiopia's Guji region is a masterful, juicy cup, bursting with rich berry compote and strawberry notes, finishing cleanly with delicate white sugar sweetness.

Solid well-rounded

No complaints with this coffee. It is very smooth and well-rounded. The berry notes are subtle but do come through without being too overpowering. If you are looking to start exploring more fruity beans while still being partial to a "smooth" and balanced cup, this would be a great bean to start with. It also does really well as an iced pourover.

Balanced flavour

Balanced flavour, not enough acidity to my taste, but this is expected from that coffee.Overall a decent cup of coffee with V60

Amazing but not as fruity as expected

I might have messed it up, but I was expecting a more fruity flavour from an anaerobic-processed bean. It’s still amazing, but I’m not sure if it’s worth the price.

Not really a light roast.

I was expecting a lighter roast than what I received, which looked to be a medium. I had a difficult time getting anything than an average cup.

Filter v60

Solid v60 filter. Might be my ode 2 grinder hitting a limit but I actually found it better as an espresso on my niche vs filter on the ode.

Great sweet coffee for someone stepping out of their comfort zone

I'm usually a darker roast and chocolate/toffee note drinker but I was pleasantly surprised with this purchase! It's not overpoweringly sweet or too acidic. Highly recommend for those wanting to try something sweet but are hesitant.

This is really not for me whatsoever.

I don't like this at all, it is very funky to my taste, I occasionally get a good cup but I have tried it 6 or 7 times and never been able to get more than 1 good cup yet. I rarely get anything that is somewhat in the tasting notes. It's just really unpleasant to me.

Good but not crazy

The coffee is more muted than expected and the size of the beans are quite uneven. During cupping it was not impressive. I tried brewing it using different methods but could only get mediocre results.

Great for both filter as espresso

I've made filter and espresso out of this bean, both were great. Sweet and comforting.

Sweet Berry

A truly wonderful coffee, with strong, sweet strawberry notes. I especially liked this one with a bit of milk, which enhances the sweetness.

Yummy

Great clean but interesting natural. Flavor notes all complimented each other well and most every cup was very good. Solid coffee, ordering a 2nd bag
