Tasting Notes: Blueberry Tart, London Fog, Açaí

Sourced from the renowned Gesha Village Coffee Estate in Ethiopia’s Bench Maji zone, this natural lot is a showcase of the variety's genetic birthplace. Founded by Rachel Samuel and Adam Overton, the estate utilizes wild seeds from the neighboring Gori Gesha forest to produce coffees of exceptional clarity and refinement. This specific lot—comprised of Gori Gesha and Gesha 1931 varieties—was dried whole on raised African beds to enhance its berry-like density and aromatic finesse. The result is an elegant and layered cup, featuring a blueberry-tart sweetness and açaí-like depth, balanced by the silky, floral tea tones of a London Fog
