Sourced from the mountains of Chiquimula and Zacapa in Guatemala, this lot is a curated blend known as "La Perla Negra" (The Black Pearl). It brings together Caturra and Catuai varieties grown at 1,574 meters, which are fully washed and sun-dried on patios. This coffee is designed for those who enjoy a "comfort" profile; it is rich and full-bodied with a mild acidity that elevates its core sweetness. The cup is defined by heavy notes of dark chocolate and toffee, with a roasted nuttiness reminiscent of Ferrero Rocher.

A solid espresso with real character — smooth, with a nice depth of flavor that lingers just long enough. Not quite perfect, but it's close. Definitely worth picking up if you're looking to try something new.
