Tasting Notes: Strawberry, Cherry, Raspberry, Pomegranate

Grenadine sidra from Nestor Lasso is back in DAK's lineup! The usual boozy and sweet cup with tasting notes of strawberry, cherry, raspberry and pomegranate. This coffee has been fermented in sealed tanks for 48hrs. It has gone under a submerged fermentation with a mix of water and musts of coffee (these musts are from the previous coffee which has been carefully monitored to control the micro bacteria in it) and sealed for 38 hours. The coffee is then dried for 12 hours until 20% in moisture content is achieved and then stored in GrainPro bags for 2 days to stabilize the coffee. Coffee is then dried on drying beds for 15 days until 10% moisture content is achieved.

Fruity light roast

DAK’s coffees are all beautiful fruity ones, this one included. Nestor Lasso always delivers too. Nice coffee

Vinous

DAK's Grenadine is a rich, syrupy, subtly boozy cup of fruit juice. Like a deep, red wine but a much better option to start your day with.

Awesome!

Wow, the tasting notes aren’t subtle at all - sweet berry liqour notes are forward on the dry beans aroma alone. Cup is super balanced with some rich cherry to even it out. One of the coolest coffees I’ve ever had!
