Rosso - Jam Jar

I grabbed a bag of this just before they released the rebranded bags, and it was incredible. Rich, jammy, a bit funky and very smooth. One of the few anaerobic coffees I've had that I could and would drink all day, every day.

The batch I bought after that, in the rebranded bag, was close but seemed like it was roasted a bit further. It remained jammy and sweet, but the funk and acidity on the back end were replaced with a more generic "roast" flavor.

I've tried adjusting my brew method, but I've come to the conclusion that my first batch just a touch better.

I would've given this coffee five stars if both bags had tasted the same. The difference was pretty subtle, but noticable. I preferred the lighter batch, but I would still buy this coffee again in the future to satisfy that jammy anaerobic craving.
