This semi-washed lot from El Girasol, produced by Robinson Ortiz in Quindío, Colombia, is a smooth and satisfying everyday coffee. It offers sweet red apple acidity, a nutty undertone, and a velvety texture thanks to a two-stage fermentation process and meticulous post-harvest handling.

Sweet and balanced cups

Tasting pretty good so far but I am still dialing it in. Sweet, good acidity and some body. I am generally into Nordic light roasts and this is a touch darker for my taste. It is still light but considering it is a Dutch roaster, I expected the beans to be lighter. So, it is a bit bitter for my taste and clarity in the cup wasn't great.
