FUNK - Downtempo Decaf

It's always about what you are looking for. This coffee is perfect for a flat white or latte. If this is what you are looking for, this is really one of the best decaf I found in recent years. medium roast, classic taste and profile, comforting.

This was a solid decaf for people who like safe coffee flavours. I expected more funk from the name, but perhaps their funky decaf is sold under a different name. The can was a neat variation from standard coffee bags, but was easier to dent/crunch than a standard beer/pop can, which some users might find visually unappealing. Keen to try their full-caf offerings, but this also left me wishing this decaf had been funkier.

Bit too dark for my taste, but still great and very drinkable

For the past few years, I've been trying to find great decafs (mostly for pour over). It has been difficult, most of them tend to fall flat and taste the same. This is not one of those coffees. I was very surprised, when I opened the canister, the aroma was a little suspect. But after brewing it, it was really tasty. Its earned a spot on my "order again" list.
