No6 - INSTANT The Portal

This is one of the few instant coffees that doesn’t make you feel like you are forced to compromise for the sake of convenience and doesn’t leave you with the impression that it’s water down.

Starts off with a strong aroma that is quite roast forward. Can't say I'm getting any real fruit but I get lots of medium dark chocolate and well roasted nuts. There's another review that calls this a "Great 'Classic ' Crowd Pleaser" and I can't agree more.

The notes and the roast level are what they are but what you get is a a coffee that is heavy bodied with clear tasting notes. The intensity is here which certainly stands out for the instants I have had recently. This is top 25% in terms of strength of notes and based on the price per sachet this is worth getting if you want instant.

An excellent instant option! We took it travelling and glad we grabbed a pack as the hotel coffee was not great. I use them at the office too

Nothing special when taking into account the price and generic brand options.

I bring this one camping on group camping trips, and it is always a crowd pleaser for anyone wanting a less funky breakfast coffee. Would recommend!

Dark and smooth with a nutty finish.
