Overall improves clarity, lets you grind fine enough for small dose v60's and most aeropress recipe's. For under 100 dollars, its a good upgrade to the original grinder without breaking the bank

Upgraded my Ode gen 1 to Gen 2.0 burrs. Been using it for months now with no issues. Works very well and coffee taste better with this new set from my experience.🙂

A great upgrade for anyone with an Ode Gen 1 that's having issues hitting the fine limit of their grinder. The Ode posted video/written tutorial is also excellent so made the swap very straightforward.

Really enjoy how much this has changed my v1 ode. Tastes are much more balanced instead of the overly bright of the v1 burrs. Easy install.

So far I’m really loving the upgrade from Gen 1.1 burrs. More consistent grind and the ability to go finer. With the Gen 1.1 I wasn’t really able to adjust much as I would do a v60 on or around a 2 and didn’t have much room to fiddle for new beans. Easy install with a great explainer video by Fellow

Been waiting to get these since I heard about how good the upgrade is. Got the Gen 2 burrs and put them in me Gen 1 Ode, works wonderfully.

Easy to switch and work so much better than the ode v1. I did not season the burrs yet but from what I got in the first 10 cup I can tell this is worth the upgrade!

With the old 1.0 burrs, it was producing too much fine causing clogging. With 2.0 now the outcome is more steady and expected. It worths the money for the upgrade

First, fabulous service by Eight Ounce Coffee! Ordered, shipped, received and installed within 5 days. The burrs are a perfect fit, as you would hope. The grinder will need to be recalibrated because, without calibration, at the usual setting that I used for pour-over, the result was powder. With the old calibration I had to dial up from 4.2 to 7.1 to obtain the same-sized grinds.

I was pleasantly surprised at how much better these burrs are (when compared to Gen 1.1).

This burr set is beyond impressive. Exceeds expectations for quality and consistency. The grind sizes are more useful as this set produces more finer settings. I am a pour-over V-60 drinker buying light to medium roasts. I am finding that any setting below 4 is too fine and clogs the filter paper and over-extracts the brew. I’m settling in to grinds between 4.1 and 6.2 now. The Gen 1 never went above 2 for me.

The only reservation one might have is a question of durability. But given the performance of the previous generation burr set I am not worried about it.

This was a terrific purchase and very much worth the small effort required to install. Highly recommended to any Gen 1 owners.

In both regards to the grinding and workflow, this upgrade from Gen 1 is extremely noticable. You don't need to be a coffee connoisseur to notice either, it's that good
so, completely worth it!

I have used the Ode 1 for quite a while now.
I have a Kruve sifter and have used this to dial in the grinder.

What I found is:
Gen 1.1 Burrs - These are good for the coarser grinds - french press - they do make a high percentage of fines below 400mm.
Gen 2.0 Burrs - These are excellent for everything, for the V60 I set the grind at 2.2, when shifted I have 0.02g <200mm and 0.9g >800 (for a dark roast I set it at 3.0)

Moca pot - 3.0
Flair - 3.2
Mocomaster drip - 6.2
French press 7.1 for lighter roast and 8.2 for darker.
I am very happy with the grinder, it is the best that I have used.
I am more than happy with the 2.0 burrs, these make the bean the best it can be.
Upgrading to the new 2.0 burrs will be the best money you will ever spend.

And, yes, they are better than the SSP burrs, but that is only my humble opinion.

This small upgrade makes a great grinder even better.

Have had these for only a few days now but wow, what a change in the coffee experience. Absolutely worth the upgrade.

Have had the burrs only for a short period so far but certainly a noticeable difference. I am able to grind a lot finer then the standard burst. Grind size is very consistent as well. Not many fines or boulders noticed in comparison to the standard burrs. Very happy with the purchase.

With Fellow releasing the Gen.2 Burrs for the ODE Grinder you can now grind much finer for those light-roasted coffees that before you just couldn't quite dial in perfectly. Fellow (and many other content creators) have shown how easy it is to swap out your old burrs and to put these in. If you already have the first edition ODE make sure to get these. They truly are a game-changer.
