Nice addition to my AeroPress. The sediment remaining at the bottom of the cup is minimal, and the feeling of having a bit more control over the brew is nice. Just don't try to use a paper filter.

The cap works fine for skipping the inversion method, making the process simpler. However, it does not seem create that much more resistance or pressure, even with an extra paper filter added. Overall, it is a solid accessory and I am now less likely to get burned by hot water (again).

I start playing with Aeropress again after getting this great little piece. It makes using AP a much better experience than before. I also love how lovely the package of Prismo is. Totally worth it!

Really happy with this for making my standard aeropress coffee (ie not for espresso).

Great add on worked as described. Highly recommend downloading the Aeromatic app (free app filled with all aeropress recipes). Check out Jonathan Gagnè; Regular Cup - Prismo, recipe, it creates spectacular cups.

A worthwhile upgrade for your AeroPress. Makes full immersion more consistent (paper filter over metal) and allows for a clean "french press" style recipe as well (metal only).

Game-changing product. Honestly can't imagine making aeropress without it again, it takes so much stress off making coffee and makes the workflow much better. I was always keen to try out new recipes, but sometimes it gets stressful trying not to mess up inverted or early "spill-outs" that mess up extractions

Game changer

Wasn’t looking to make an ‘espresso style’ drink but bought it to stop the drip from the Aeropress as you pour. Solves this problem perfectly, happy with my purchase.

This will step up your aero press game. You can do long steep/brews. I do about 18g for 270g of water. Let it hang out in the chamber for 15mins. It makes your coffee sing!

This little gadget fixes my issue with my aero press, and makes the aero press much more functional for the type of coffee I want without having to maneuver the press from upside down with hot coffee in it. This allows me to make nice strong coffee, without making a mess.

Filter is decent but aesthetically the shot was the same with the standard aeropress set up. There was no crema.

Simple to use. Use it all the time. Good upgrade to the Aeropress. I'm enjoying the improvement in flavour depth. It's easier to achieve consistent results than with the standard Aeropress. I've preferred using a paper filter on top of the metal filter. Easy clean up.

Love this tool. Use it on my aeropress all the time.

A must have for your aeropress

Well manufactured and functional, ads more functionality to an already versatile brewer. Also removes the rush to place the plunger. Thumbs up

I would absolutely recommend this simply as an "upgrade" to the aeropress. It makes brewing leak-free without inverting, and the metal filter does a great job of letting some of the oils and such through to give the coffee a more robust mouthfeel. This will not make actual espresso, but will do a decent job if you want a milky espresso drink like a cappuccino or latte with minimal effort.

Must have for a better AP experience. No reason to ever to inverted method ever again to avoid dripping. This is stable, and basically guarantees no accidents from going inverted and you can work on getting a proper flat coffee bed for more even flow when pressing. I prefer paper filters, so paper goes on top of the metal disk each time.

I always thought I wasn't getting the most out of my aeropress go. It would always leak water as I waited for it to steep before plunging and now that problem is solved with the fellow prismo. I've only tried it a couple of times but i must say that there is a huge difference and it definitely takes my aeropress to the next level!
I use the aeropress go because its easy to take camping and the prismos metal filter will make that even easier. No more messing around with the paper filters, or forgetting them altogether. Note that you can add the paper filter if you want to!

I usually use this instead of doing the inverted method and it lets me not have to worry about accidentally spilling my coffee while brewing in the morning. Great little addition to anyone's aeropress kit

Pretty nice piece of kit. The prismo has been a permanent replacement on my aeropress. I like the pressure it adds to brewing and also it keeps your coffee from dripping before all of the grounds are saturated. I feel like this has made brewing a lot more controlled and thus a better brew!

This won't make "proper" espresso, but it makes something pretty darn close. If you follow Fellow's instructions, what you'll get is a small, strong coffee made under some amount of pressure — and unlike many home espresso machines, you can use light roast with it and not get something sour and horrible. It's not as textured or foamy as normal espresso, but it's a short, tasty beverage that's a breeze to make in the morning. I haven't touched my espresso machine since I got a Prismo.

The instructions are simple and using it is great, for the most part. There are two things to be aware of:

- cleaning it properly (with soap and water) takes a little extra time, and you're supposed to clean it after every use to prevent clogging. It's more work than "pop out coffee and rinse it off" like the usual Aeropress hardware, but less work than cleaning an espresso machine.

- it's a VERY tight fit, so attaching it can be a challenge. You can use water to get around this — it goes on way easier if you wet either the rubber part of the filter or the bottom of the Aeropress first.

Lost the original brewing lid on the Aeropress so decided to get this. It brews very differently, which I have enjoyed, and great that it does not drip while waiting for the coffee to chill out in the chamber! Don't know that I'd say the output is an espresso but we have enjoyed it :)

The Prismo is a great addition to the AeroPress to make more espresso-style coffee. With espresso beans freshly ground to a fine grind, I can get a small amount of crema on my espresso shots.
