FELLOW Stagg Wooden Handle and Lid Pull Kit

I bought this on clearance for about 25% or so. Got the maple wood handle to replace my white plastic handle. It looks much nicer. It's smooth and doesn't reveal dirt as easy because there are no grooves. It would caution against over tightening it (which is very easy to do) because it will scratch the powder coat paint on the kettle.

I got this set as a gift for my husband for Christmas and we love it! The contrast with the black kettle is eye-catching and the feel of the handle is really nice.

Bought this to match the rest of my coffee gear. The handle is slightly lighter but it works great.

I think Fellow changed their design, because this handle and pull kit fits perfectly to my Stagg EKG. Now my Maple+white kettle is breathtaking, and it was very simple to modify and execute!

Although this wasn’t designed for the Stagg, the handle will work without modification. The wooden knob for the lid does require a bit of modification where you need to add a metal screw insert so you can tighten it onto the Stagg EKG lid.

They made an updated version of these handles that now work with the electric kettles without any modification(s). It does look great! However, there are two things to keep in mind: (1) there is no screw cover for the wood handle, leaving the screw exposed. You can't re-insert the screw cover from the original handle because the screw that you need to install the wood handle is much longer. Not deal breaking, but I wish they included a new cover to make it look a bit cleaner. (2) these replacement handles put aesthetic over practice. One of the selling points of these kettles is that they have a counter weight in the handle to help with pouring. Obviously, when you remove the stock handle, you also remove the counter weight because wood handles don't have it. Again, not deal breaking, but definitely something I wish Fellow made clear. The kettle does feel a bit lighter after the switch. Nonetheless, still happy with this!

I received the handle and it looked great. It was missing a screw for the knob. I was refunded part of the purchase price because the handle is no longer recommended to use due to its proximity to the burner. Looks great but you need to be very careful with placement on the stove.
