I am new to manual grinding. I love this! It is very easy to use.

I am very happy with my HARIO Skerton N Grinder and I am very very pleased with Eight Ounce Coffee. Finding the grinder was straightforward, the order went smooth, the delivery was prompt and the product is TOP NOTCH.
I had always enjoyed my favourite roast. A HARIO v60 Switch improved the cup. This HARIO grinder takes a good brew and makes it world class.
I am very VERY happy to find a Canadian business that can provide this grinder quickly, easily and at an affordable cost.

This was my first grinder ages ago, I still use it when I go camping. It’s so affordable, I don’t mind if something were to happen to it and it does the job!

I have been using this grinder every morning for 2 weeks now. It grinds the coffee well and the coffee is ground very even and uniform. I also enjoy the use of glass and metal so it will last a long time.

The Skerton Plus is a great affordable grinder for starting your home pourover brew bar. Was my daily grinder till I upgraded to my electric. Recently bought one as a gift for my partner who also appreciates coffee so she can start her home brewing journey.

At home, I love my Baratza Encore, but this little grinder is perfect for hotel rooms and travel.

It's easy to load and fairly smooth to grind. The cover for the hopper can be moved to read the markings for grind sizes. It's fairly intuitive to adjust. While I'm sure it's not as smooth or uniform as more expensive grinders, it does a nice job at an affordable price and in a small package.

Perfect hand grinder - does a great job and the glass container gives an elegant feel over a plastic one. Easy to use and very reasonable price.

If you know what you're looking for with a manual grinder, Hario is among the best there is. If you just want coffee ground fast and aren't picky about coarseness and speed is paramount for you, an electric grinder is still probably your best route. For us, this was the perfect alternative.

Set up was extremely easy and clean up is simple. All parts of the grinder can be removed and hand washed. The grinder also comes with a lid that you can use for the glass container. Perfect for those who want to grind coffee the night before for the next day.
In terms of grind settings, there were actually no instructions on the box in terms of what setting to use for the type of coffee you will be making, so I did have to do some research online.

The only issue I had with the grinder is that it actually comes with a rubber cover to protect the glass base, but I found that it always falls off when I am in the middle of grinding.

All in all, this grinder is an excellent choice for the price range. Would recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind taking a couple of minutes each day to grind a delicious cup of coffee.

This is my first time grinding my own coffee, and I wanted something simple to use and non-electric. It was very easy to learn how to use this grinder and how to change the coarseness of the grind. I am very happy with it!

Purchased this after many years of waiting for a good hand grinder that was practical and easy to use and would be durable , made with quality
components. There are many good reviews out there , as there are for many things. I purchased for when the grid goes down and when traveling
in areas where good coffee is hard to find. If you are traveling by vehicle , that means always having your camp stove , water and fuel along ,
as well as your favorite brew method. We have only used it for the set up , taking it for a test drive. Do not yet have any longevity studies testing
it's durability. After 2 trial runs it continues to prove easy to use and to produce a consistent grind.

After 14 years the Zassenhaus Mokka I'd bought in Berlin, Nov 2007, crapped out and I need a new hand grinder for pourover. I opted for this Hario and so far it's performed flawlessly. One thing I can't wrap my head around is why, when I live in Calgary not very far from 8 Oz, I had to pay for delivery, but the grinder is fabulous. Recommended.

We bought our first grinder 8 years ago, and loved it. So glad to see they designed the cover. We decided to give our old grinder to our daughter and order a new one so we had the cover. Works great, but unfortunately the base that keeps it from slipping does not fit properly and keeps falling off. This did not happen with the old one so this is a bit of a disappointment.

I've had my Hario grinder for two years, and I use it twice daily. It has a consistent grind, parts are high quality, and it's great for travel! Customer service was amazing, and it felt great to support a local company instead of Amazon!

Great quality grinder, love how easy it is to use and adjust depending on coarseness of coffee needed. Love that it’s glass/can be broken down for travel and that it has a screw on lid for keeping ground coffee in. Can’t wait to bring it camping! Shipping was quick! Excellent customer service team!

Good capacity, Appreciate the recyclable materials. The grinder works quickly and saves time in the morning. Not bad things necessarily but it is louder than other grinders I have used, the grind size can be inconsistent and the grinding arm's screw loosens as you grind. All in all a good grinder, would recommend.

This grinder is good for the price and can hold quite a bit of beans and grinds in one batch. Cons would be that the handle seems to loosen up when grinding. The quality of the material used is very nice.

Good quality item. I use it daily. But be ready to 90 seconds of grinding per 2 scoops of beans per cup of coffee

Having full control over grind size is a game changer for my Hario Syphon. It took a while to learn the settings, but it was absolutely worth it and I'll never go back to the pre-ground stuff

As this is my first hand grinder I have nothing to compare to but so far I am very happy with the grinder. It grinds beans perfect for my French press. I have no complaints about the grind quality. I do however have minor issues with the hand crank. As it is used it slowly loosens off which isn't desireable and also I wish there was a way to set the grind size easier as I have to count the graduations on the wheel(first world problems). While these aren't huge issues I am giving this 4 stars because of those minor issues. Otherwise a fantastic grinder!
