We ship all orders from our 30,000 sq ft warehouse in Calgary, Canada, where our in-house team works closely across departments to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality packaging. We don’t use third-party logistics (3PL) companies because we believe in delivering the best possible experience when shipping your sweet coffee gear.

For orders within Canada under $75, a flat shipping rate of $10 applies. For orders shipping to the U.S. under $100, we charge a flat rate of $12.

WAVE GOODBYE TO BAD COFFEE

This is the finest expression of the Kalita Wave. Handmade in Tsubame, Japan with the highest level of craftsmanship, to exacting standards. The Kalita Wave is one of the finest Japanese pour over brewers available. Due to its flat bottom design, and controlled flow rate - due to to three small holes in the bottom of the brewer - you can expect a more consistent brew every time. The Wave filters also encourage consistency of brew by reducing contact with the side of the brewer, maintaining more temperature stability. This is the 185 (2 cup) stainless steel version.

Works great! Slow steady filter

This dripper is well made

This dripper is well made and looks really nice. One minor flaw is that a small amount of water can pool at the very bottom of the dripper, but it’s not a big issue. It’s easy to get good results with this brewer. Depending on the type of beans, I like to grind medium and do 3 pours, medium coarse and do 6-8 small pours. Both give great results in my experience.

A bit slower than my ceramic Kalita Wave 185 but much prettier

Super pretty but slightly slower drawdown time. Personally prefer the taste of the ceramic Kalita 185 more.

Best Kalita out there

This dripper is beautiful, elegant and very durable! I can get a complex cup of coffee without a perfect pouring technique regardless of the coffee beans. Worth every penny!

Best pour over

I bought this to replace my melitta plastic pour over dripper since I didn’t want hot water to be touching plastic. The tsubame kalita wave has given me consistent results with no clogging of the filter from the three drainage holes (unlike the ridged stainless steel version that is more popular but has problems with clogging according to a few review sites). I’m very happy with this elegantly designed and sturdy pour over dripper! It feels like it can last a lifetime and is worth the higher price.

Spendy but worth it

I tend to make larger batches of coffee for 2 (30g of beans), so I bought this larger size. It's easy to use, the Kalita filters are great, and it produces nice, sweet cups of coffee. I tend to get brighter cups from my V60, but I enjoy both brewers immensely. It's fun to compare and contrast. This version of the Wave is rather expensive, but I love that it's stainless steel and handmade in Japan. It's nice to know it's the only one I'll buy in this lifetime. I like buying quality products, and this dripper is certainly that. Additionally, it doesn't suffer from the flow issues the standard steel Wave apparently has. That's the other reason I went with this version. There's also no chance of me breaking this one, compared to glass or ceramic.

Really love the simplicity of this system. Very easy to use with consistent results.
