Best for espresso, but also wasn't surprised how good it was for espresso as I already knew what I was purchasing it for. On to more Matchsticks!

Best espresso I have had in a long time. so happy to see it on this Website.

A nice coffee with smooth notes and clean finish. A finer grind and 19.5grams (38-42gm output) seems to yield best results.

I've bought this coffee a handful of times, but my experience has been inconsistent. When its been good its been great - delicious, smooth shots, with no obvious channeling..... BUT the last bag I bought I couldn't dial in no matter how hard I tried. I adjusted my grind, my dose size, even played with different water temperatures, but I got channeling and over-extracted shots almost every time. I ended up throwing out the last couple of drnks' worth of beans and moving to a different bag.

I like this but it doesn’t have the deep aroma I like in a bean. Tasty and nothing wrong, but just this roast or bean combo is a little too bright and heady for me.
