Find the coffee tastes way better when I use it. And I use it daily, so I wish it wasn’t plastic. Maybe stainless steel?

It's a great little tool to use for low agitation pour over method. Not mandatory to brew pour over, but fun to have in the tool box to experiment and try new recipes. Also, very usefull with the SOFI brewer instead of a spoon.

Works as intended, but wish it came with a holder instead of having to hover over the bed

Didn't know I needed low agitation recipes in my life until this. Brings out a whole new set of profiles when used correctly. Not an every day thing but really fun to experiment. One tip: preheat the melodrip!

Was skeptical of price but once you receive it, the price starts to make more sense. Beautiful tool that helps create clearer cups, packaging and presentation also gorgeous. Happier with it than I expected! Lovely piece of kit.

This works great for my pour over coffee

I love using the Melodrip for the last 2/3 of my pour over. It really helps to consistently pull out the sweetness.

Certainly not a necessary tool to have, but if you are bored with your routine I highly recommend it.

From my experiences so far, I am able to make really consistent, sweet cups with the Melodrip versus other tools that do a similar job. It might take some time to get used to but just like everything pour over related, practice is key.

Improved my pourover extraction % quite a bit. I use it with Orea v3 MK2 + Kalita Wave (glass and trogamid versions). Almost covers the entire diameter of the brewer. Great tool for travel as well, i.e. no need for a gooseneck kettle - it distributes the water and flow evenly even with a standard "peasant" kettle :)

The actual melodrip is exactly as advertised and came promptly. As for the function, I'm not sure. It was a gift to my son and he trying it out, but I haven't yet heard whether it is making a sufficient difference in his coffee to make it worth the fiddling (and he loves fiddling with things that make coffee better).

Solid tool for changing the way your pour over tastes by lowering agitation. I don’t use it everyday, bur it has been fun to experiment with.

Nice tool, would occasionally agitate my grinds too much prior to getting it. Have been able to grind finer. Also didn't realize that the screen unscrews from the handle which makes it more portable for travelling. Very cool.

If you want to add a little something extra to the pour over routine, this is excellent. It can be a bit awkward to use at first, but there is a pretty vibrant community around this device with a lot of 'attachments' made for it. But of course, practice makes perfect.

I think it's a great tool to have on hand for any pour over enthusiast.

This reminds me of an espresso machine showerhead. It spreads out the water and changes the agitation when pouring water. The tool is well-made, and feels sturdy.

This can be used in lots of situations during your brewing process. I couldn't be happier with this product. come with 3 sticks in a bag. If you are careful with it and don't drop it, this should last you for a long long time.

I'll admit, I was a bit skeptical, but it does as advertised. Clarity and sweetness is increased with my Chemex brews.

Can be used to get some extra life out of a standard pour kettle or a budget grinder with slightly more fines.

I have tried this with Kalita, GINA V60 style pour over and Chemex. I have definitely found it helps get a cleaner cup and brings out a little sweetness in every cup 😃

It's a Christmas present for 2020.

Was quite skeptical at first but after watching some reviews I decided to pull the trigger on this guy, and I was not let down. this tool makes such a clean little cup, I don't know how it works but I can't see myself brewing without it.

You get what you see. Good to top off your order for free shipping or if you need a more portable sized stirring rod because a chopstick is too long. Do note that it is glass and it does feel fragile.

It allows me to extract evenly at a much finer grind size than I would be able to use without the Melodrip due to the gentle agitation.
