Tasting Notes: Blueberry, Shortbread, Vanilla Cream

This vibrant natural process coffee comes from the Gerse washing station, located in the high-altitude Bensa district of the Sidama region (often associated with the classic Yirgacheffe profile). Hundreds of smallholder farmers deliver their indigenous heirloom cherries to the station, where they are meticulously sorted and dried on raised beds. The extreme elevation of up to 2,100 meters allows for a slow maturation of the fruit, resulting in a profile that is both intensely fruity and remarkably creamy. The cup lead with a distinct blueberry jam sweetness, supported by a buttery shortbread texture and a lingering finish of vanilla cream
