Every station needs a solid tamp mat and this one fits the bill. The thickness is perfect, doesn't feel flimsy, and can fit a tamp, distributor, and funnel if you need.

Greatest tamping mat ever

It’s everything you could ever ask for in a tamping mat. Doesn’t move, table doesn’t get wrecked, not too soft. What else could you ask for? It won’t tamp your coffee for you. You have to at least some of the work yourself.
