This coffee is a cake in a cup. This is a truly special and unique coffee - we’ve never had anything similar before. The Castillo cherries have undergone an anaerobic fermentation for 48 hours at 20 Celsius. The coffee is then thermic shock washed. The beans then undergo controlled drying for 34 hours at 35°C and a relative humidity of 25% until reaching a grain moisture of 10%-11%.

This is one of our all time favourites!! The cardamom really comes through and I find it’s a great fall/winter coffee :)

This is my type of coffee taste

This is my type of coffee taste.Bold but not bitter. Nice to have it simple like a brewed style or an Americano.

One of our favourites

This is our go-to Dak coffee. It has very unique flavours while still being a fantastic coffee to drink daily. It does well both hot and iced pour-over. Great sweet notes with an overall balanced and smooth finish and a bit of nuttiness to it.

Incredible Coffee

This is the second time I’ve bought this coffee. It does not disappoint. It’ makes a stunning cup using V60 or Switch. I’ll be buying more and definitely want to try other offerings from DAK.

Perfect entry point for speciality coffee

When I have visitors who are used to standard grocery store coffee, this is the bean I turn to, it delivers a great, distinctive cup without straying too far from a familiar coffee taste.

Everyone should give this a try!

Finally got a couple of bags after reading the hype online and deciding to try it for myself. Really unique and complex flavours - I got subtle cardamon notes with a lovely smooth tea-like body. Such a unique and interesting coffee I would definitely get it again and recommend people try it at least once.
