COF-KF-0026Sourced from the Worka Chelbesa village in the Gedeb district, this organic-certified lot is a vibrant example of high-altitude Ethiopian coffee. The cherries were processed at a washing station operated by SNAP Specialty Coffee, situated at over 2,000 meters above sea level. This facility utilizes ceramic-tiled fermentation tanks, which help maintain heat and improve clarity during the 36-48 hour fermentation process. After being de-pulped and washed, the beans are dried on raised African beds for 7-10 days. The resulting cup is complex and tropical, featuring lush stone fruit notes of peach and pineapple, balanced by the delicate floral aroma of bergamot and a creamy vanilla sweetness
