    Replace that leaky gasket in the E61 group head of your espresso machine with this neutral and aroma-free silicone gasket. The soft consistency creates a better seal and makes installation even easier. If your portafilter locks into place too far to the right due to a worn group or portafilter, then this is the gasket to make your life easier. This thicker gasket is designed to fit worn groups and/or portafilters in E61 group heads.

    • 8.5mm thicker design matches standard E61 group head gaskets but solves the problem of group/portafilter wear
    • Heat resistant silicone
    • Forms tight seal without tightening the portafilter as much as a standard gasket
    • Fits all espresso machines with E61 group heads that have wear in the group head and/or portafilter
    • 73mm x 57mm x 8.5mm Blue Silicone Gasket
    • Petroleum based grease can degrade silicone. Use a silicone lubricant instead, ideally a food safe white grease.
    • Use the portafilter with the basket removed to install the gasket to avoid breakage

  • Use to replace the old gasket on your E61 espresso machine.

    Please note that although the gaskets are strong under compression, you should never use a sharp tool like a screwdriver to install them. This may tear the silicone.

Cafelet seals for a E61 grouphead

I ordered five Cafelet 8.5mm seals from Someware. They have the best price. They seemingly shipped them the same day I placed my order and the seals arrived three days later via Canada Post. Canada, man. They are perfect, fit my Izzo Duetto correctly, the espresso keeps flowing. I'll be back!

Perfect replacement for the Decent Espresso gasket. Hopefully will last a very long time compared to hard rubber. Silicone on my last machine never showed wear after 6 years before selling it...

Better than the original

Better than the original rubber gasket on the Gaggia Classic Pro. The silicone one is a must for all GCP owners.

Bought the gaggia classic -pro recently. great machine, but the rubber gasket was hard as a rock, could barely get the portafilter on and couldn't really tighten it. the silicone replacement gasket is a perfect fit, and the portafilter needs hardly any effort to tighten into position. Wish I had ordered two, and saved the shipping for when I will need a new one.

A real charm !

You have to put the Cafelat Silicone gasket (even more if you change your shower screen to a IMS Precision shower screen) ! Easy to put and to remove, don't dry out and the portafilter slide easily in place ! A must have !

Lelit P62T Mara & IMS Precision Shower Screen

I've just installed this in my Lelit P62T (Mara), with an IMS Precision Shower Screen. The fit was perfect, I didn't require any lubrication to install (I used the portafilter without a basket to get it in tight). The old rubber one cracked in half when pulling it out, this one is a soft consistency and immediately there's a nicer feeling when tightening the portafilter to the grouphead. Also, kudos to 8 oz. for the excellent customer service.
