It's a solid shot glass with no fuss and easy to read line measurement indicators. Haven't had any loss of the markings while washing.

My only feedback is they are a little tall for the amount of space I have on my drip tray with the scale. That's not the fault of the product though! Just something to keep in mind. Well made, come clean nicely in the dishwasher without any loss of the marking on the side, look great.

The shot glass itself is great for pulling shots. The measurements on the side is great for amount precision. The whole thing is great for tweaking your shots from timing, amount, and taste.

I ordered two (2) Hario shot glasses. They are a good thickness and weight. Very sturdy and should stand up to daily use in the home. There are measurement markings on the side so you can easily measure out your shots if you don’t have a scale.

Coming from predominantly brewing pour overs, I'm just beginning my espresso journey. I started off brewing with my American Weigh 2kg scale under the porta filter but the combination of the occasional leakage from the group head and moist steamy air coming up from the drip tray made it malfunction after pulling a couple shots (It's since dried out and is fine). My Acaia Pearl is far too large to go under the group head and I'm not prepared to drop another few hundred on a Lunar. Enter this lovely little shot glass. It might not be as accurate as a scale, but it's good enough for my purposes. I can get pretty good idea of the grounds in, coffee out ratio by weighing my ground beans before hand and then watching the espresso rise in this glass. Echoing what another user said, I do wish it was maybe a little wider at the mouth, but for $8 I can't complain. Would definitley buy again and might buy a second to keep on hand in case I ever drop my first one. Although, it is quite heavy with thick walls so would likely stand up to a small drop.

It tends to be a bit messy when used with a bottomless filter as it's diameter is so small but I like the fact it doesn't take much space and it's graduated. I rarely use them now but it's cheap enough to be worth having just a pair for split shots. I really suggest though not to put them on top of ur machine for pre-heating as this glass stays pretty hot for a very long time so unless you like a ridiculously hot espresso, I wouldn't do it. The glass is hot enough already from just having the espresso inside and it doesn't get cold as porcelin as fast.
