Disappointing

I had very high expectations for this coffee, as the roaster really talked it up upon its release. Unfortunately, no matter what changes I make to my brewing parameters (water, temperature, grind size, or simply waiting to give it a little more rest time), I can't get a good cup out of this one. At best, I'm tasting subtle berries, but more often than not, it simply tastes overwhelmingly savoury and herbal. I noticed that Prodigal changed their description of the coffee, after its initial release, to suggest it's more subtle and savoury to their usual releases, so that was disappointing. At such a high price (or even at a low price), I wouldn't personally recommend, and I'm not sure if I'll be ordering from this roaster again.
