For orders within Canada under $75, a flat shipping rate of $10 applies. For orders shipping to the U.S. under $100, we charge a flat rate of $12.

Many don’t know it, but a lot of ecological cups and other “compostable” serving ware are lined with PLA plastic. This is to keep them from getting too soggy or breaking down when in contact with food or liquid.

PLA plastic is a bioplastic derived from agricultural byproducts, like sugarcane, and requires very specific conditions and very high temperatures to properly break down. So, PLAs technically are compostable, but unless they end up in the proper industrial composting facility, they’re probably headed for the landfill… where they can remain for centuries.

Little Green Panda’s compostable cups, on the other hand, will break down anywhere: garbage bin, backyard compost, even in your garden… No matter where it ends up, the Friendly Cup is designed to disappear in just 90 days.

The Friendly Cup is made from recycled bamboo pulp and a water-resistant, plastic-free lining that’s sturdy enough to keep hot coffee inside just like other paper cups. But after it’s served its purpose, the Friendly Cup will simply break down anywhere. No clogging up the landfill.
