Produced by Luis Anibal Calderon at Villa Betulia in Acevedo, Huila, Colombia, this natural-processed Gesha is grown at elevations between 1,500 and 1,600 meters. With over 40 years of experience, Luis Anibal meticulously hand-selects only the ripest cherries, followed by a 24-hour aerobic fermentation and an extended 200-hour sealed fermentation in Grainpro bags. The cherries are then sun-dried on raised beds, resulting in a fruit-forward and floral cup that highlights the precision and care in its processing.

Lovely Pod Espresso

I finally pulled the trigger and tried Colonna pods after being curious for so long. Turns out I should have pulled the trigger a long time ago. It’s great to have a pod espresso that actually has flavours and acidity beyond ‘chocolate and cereal’. Will definitely buy again and have on hand for a quick option when time is limited.

Bright and vibrant

So rare to find an espresso capsule that is bright and vibrant with floral aromas and a fruity acidity. No cereal in these pods. Nespresso ain't got nothing to even compare with this specialty roast. Very pleased and surprised.
