Highly-rated specialty coffee with distinctive flavor notes. Customers said it tastes "like chocolate milk and cherry liqueur" with boozy, funky characteristics. Most praised accurate tasting notes and aromatic qualities. Easy to brew via aeropress or V60. Some noted inconsistency and preferred other varieties. Best as a treat rather than daily coffee.

For the Milky Cake heads

Delicious! Tasting notes are spot on, its like chocolate milk and cherry liqueur. Boozy, but less than I was expecting from the buzz about it on online forums. If you like funky coffees, this doesn't disappoint!

Ordered this earlier this year

Ordered this earlier this year. Very aromatic, extremely so. Not an everyday cup but certainly very nice. Very boozy. I have Bonita coming soon too.

Another DAK cake

If you like Milky Cake, this is like a Black Forest Cake with very strong cherry aromas. Def will buy again

Interesting

I enjoy it but I vastly prefer DAK’s Milky Cake.

Warm and Comforting

A nice full cupof joe that tastes like you dipped your glazed donut it (minus the actual donut) - found the donut flavor was best when brewed via aeropress, opposed to pourover - a easy drinker no doubt!

Never disappointed in Dak. I've tried this one before in a cafe and I was so excited to see eight ounce bring it back.

A nice staple coffee

The tasting notes are spot on - I found the vanilla to be a bit lackluster though

Great Coffee but can be inconsistent

Unsure what is up with DAK Coffee Roasters but they have been super inconsistent recently.

Not quite Milky Cake...

But it is quite wild. Tasting notes are spot on.

Amazing!

It just got better the longer it rested. I really enjoyed this one as a dessert time coffee and as a treat.

This is now the wildest coffee I've ever had. The tasting notes are spot on - cherry liquor is the most apparent on my V60 brews.

It's not something I could drink on the daily, but it certainly delivered on its promise of unconventional flavors. I'm glad this is the first DAK I've tried, it's very memorable. Great as a single coffee to really mix up my rotation of almost exclusively washed coffees. I rested it 6 weeks before opening.

I will say I recently brewed through the NATIVE (Wilton benitez) thermal shock set's 4 coffees and Cream Donut was crazier than any of the 4 Native coffees.

Not sure which coffee is right for you?
