DAK - "Le Cure": Golden Bloom
COF-DA-0238We’re excited to introduce Le Cure, an exclusive coffee collection of both espresso and filter coffee beans created with DAK Coffee Roasters. The name Le Cure is a playful blend of French and English—“Le” represents the French Canadian roots of DAK’s founders, while “Cure” sounds like “Liquor,” adding a fun twist. It’s a versatile name, perfect for this rotating collection of unique coffees. Carefully selected by DAK and Eight Ounce, roasted by DAK, and offered only through Eight Ounce, this collection will feature a new coffee every 6 months, bringing you fresh, seasonal flavours. This project reflects our passion for high-quality coffee and our strong friendship with DAK, with the box design reflecting this unique bond. The first coffee in Le Cure is Golden Bloom, a pink bourbon field blend from Colombia, sourced from Las Perlitas, a group of small lots from Huila with 86+ point profiles. Grown at altitudes between 1600 and 2000 MASL, the farmers—Edier Perdomo, Jhon Esneider Ordoñez, Lizardo Imabchi, Anayibe Ortiz, and Armando Coca—produce Caturra, Castillo, and Pink Bourbon. After pulping and 24 to 48 hours of anaerobic fermentation, the cherries are washed and dried for 7 to 14 days. With notes of yellow plum, nectarine, and white flowers, Golden Bloom is bright, unique, and delicately sweet. A perfect balance of freshness and flavour. You can only get Golden Bloom and future Le Cure coffees through Eight Ounce. We’re excited to share this special offering with you!
