Bright & Clean, not so Wild

Was expecting an adventure but was delivered a bright, clean cup, which I very much still enjoyed.

Very interesting flavor profile

Very interesting flavor profile. My first bag of beans from David Kim.

Solid everyday cup, even if I couldn’t fully dial it in

Tried it on both V60 and Kalita. Didn’t really get the listed notes, but that might’ve been on me more than the coffee itself. It was still pretty good.

Fruity delicious

David Kim always delivers. Great beans and nice light but not too light roast. Fruitier as it cools.

Great - tough (for ME) to dial in

Big fan of David Kim. I wish I had dialled these in sooner so I could have enjoyed more cups at its best. Tasted more dark fruit to me than tropical (i.e. mango), chocolate.

It’s a characterful coffee with bright fruit notes that is a tasty way to dial in a pouring routine. Through 8oz I’ve found a new roaster including Wild from David Kim.

Coffee for easy drinking

Coffee is easy to drink and made me curious about other David Kim coffees. The only thing was it was hard to dial in the grind right.

Decent beans!

David does it again with these beans. A lovely light cup. I did find however that I needed to grind a bit finer for a pour over to extract all of the flavours. Other than that, I am quite happy with this.

Lovely bright Ethiopian

Another bag with David Kim’s signature brightness.

Very tart

This is a very distinct coffee. I like that it's unique and fruity, but it's also very tart. Maybe a little too tart? It's kinda hard on my stomach too, probably because of the high acidity. I like this with lots of milk or mixed with other beans to take the edge off!

Fantastic

Some of the best beans I've ever had. The smell alone is stunning. I only wish the bag was bigger!

David Kim Coffee - WILD, Ethiopia, Natural

Delicious and Unique

David Kim has come highly recommended from some friends and the tasting notes lined up with what I normally like so I went with it. Not at all disappointed. It has some unique notes that aren't that common with a natural, while still having that heavier flavour that is common with naturals. Super complex and delicious. I've been loving every cup.

Disappointing size - only 200g

The bag received was only 200g of coffee, which is very small for the price. Taste was OK, too light for my taste.

Hi Julien - thanks for letting us know! We have updated the description to include the bag size.
