Carlos and his wife Yolanda are legendary figures in Colombian specialty coffee, now managing several farms with their children. This Caturra lot was processed using the traditional washed method with fermentation in concrete tanks, followed by drying in parabolic dryers. The result is a quintessential "fruity and elegant" cup, characterized by an intense sweetness and a thick, marmalade-like mouthfeel. The profile is anchored by rich chocolate and nut tones, complemented by a deep fruitiness reminiscent of plums and sweet raisins.
