Wanted to love this coffee but it's been difficult to get dialled in - have used a V60-02 & the Hario Switch, both methods seem to extract the middle/earthy tastes in the palette rather than the fruit notes. I've been trying a bunch of different coffees from Honduras lately & haven't had this trouble with other varieties, so this might be due to the roasting technique used by Escape but I'm not 100% sure. It's still a nice cup, but I haven't been able to find the proper balance yet where I'd recommend this to a friend.

Torn between 3 and 4 stars as it's decent for the price point. Will update this review if I get a truly excellent cup by the end of this bag - letting it de-gas from an extra week or so at this point & going to check in on the beans then.

Recommended for intermediate/expert level coffee fans & maybe best left for another day if you are new to coffee. Monogram and P&S both have Honduras varieties at a similar price point that are more user-friendly IMHO
