This single-origin lot from the Gathiga Coffee Factory in Kenya’s Muranga District is particularly unique as it features 100% peaberry beans—a rare natural mutation where only one seed develops inside the cherry, often resulting in a more concentrated and vibrant flavor profile. Composed of SL-28, SL-34, and Ruiru 11 varieties, this washed coffee strikes a perfect balance between complexity and consistency. The cup lead with a bright tropical fruit acidity, supported by the rich, textured sweetness of orange chocolate and a smooth caramel finish.
