Customers highly praised this coffee for espresso, describing it as "bold but smooth" with "notes of chocolate and cherries." The traditional darker roast is "very forgiving and consistent, excellent with milk." One customer noted it's "nothing remarkable but a solid medium roast." Great value with rich flavor.

Perfect Rich & Satisfying

Hatch Blackout is perfect for hand-drip coffee, with deep dark chocolate and molasses notes. Super fresh too, producing plenty of bubbles during brewing, and a rich, satisfying cup. Definitely one I'd order again in the future.

Pretty standard medium roast

Does what it says on the tin. Nothing remarkable but a solid medium roast espresso and goes well with milk.

Great, if you like traditional, Italian style espresso.

Very forgiving and consistent, excellent with milk and just by itself.
Dark but without oil present on the beans.
It is one of my go to beans, when I need to make a perfect espresso.
