Tasty Forgiving Beans

Fairly easy to dial in. Can't really go wrong no matter the recipe. Good for milk drink and as is

High price value

For 28cad you get 500g high quality sweet, body-balanced coffee with a hint of floral, what else do you expect

Honestly the perfect morning espresso coffee

The praline was the most prominent note for me which came through beautifully in milk drinks. Price point for the larger bags gives you lots of leeway for dialling in. Will definitely buy again as soon as it's back in stock!

Delicious, approachable, excellent value — what’s not to like!

Very smooth and approachable, but also easy to play with: I was able to pull juicy and sweet shots for myself, but could also adjust to something less bright for family and guests who like darker profiles. I like naturals and anaerobics, but I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of “funk” — that seems to have translated directly into sweetness with very little fermented notes. Incredibly high quality given the price!

I normally buy smaller bags and constantly rotate between wildly different coffees, but it was so nice being able to dial this in without thinking of how few shots I might pull from this. I could see myself having this as an easy everyday espresso that’s still delicious. Looking forward to when it’s back in stock!

Great in milk based drinks

I find this is working very nicely in my oatmilk cappuccinos. Really noticed the hint of orange.

Great for milk based drinks

I like the body in this. I found it full but not overwhelming. Nice citrus aroma.

Waste of effort and money

Bought in good faith following recommendation. The roast date was 2 weeks previously, so should have been fresh. Kept clogging my Gaggia Classic for a very slow draw. Had to increase the coarseness to 34 on my Sage/Breville burr grinder to get a double shot under 30s (normally espresso sits between maybe 16-24 on my machine). This was virtually cafetiere level and ended up very weak and disappointing. Don't know if this was a bad batch or if the roast date was a year out or if the beans were ancient or something. I have never had these issues with fresh beans before and a bag of different beans I bought after this worked just fine.
