COF-MH-0221Mutheru Factory is located on the high-altitude slopes of the Aberdare Ranges in Murang’a, Kenya. This blend of cherry delivered by over 500 smallholder farmers, each managing roughly 250 trees within the Kariua Farmers Cooperative Society. The lot features a classic Kenyan field blend of SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11, and Batian varieties grown in nutrient-dense volcanic soil. Following Kenya’s rigorous post-harvest standards, the coffee is fully washed, fermented for up to 24 hours, and then soaked in clean circulating water to maximize clarity and consistency. The result is a vibrant and elegant cup that leads with the tart brightness of red currant and juicy yellow plum, grounded by a subtle, smooth finish of light caramel
