Produced by Tamiru Tadesse Tesema in Alo Village, Bensa, Sidama, Ethiopia, this dry-fermented honey-processed 74158 variety is grown at 2,410 meters above sea level. The meticulous processing involves hand-picking ripe cherries, floating to remove defects, de-pulping promptly, dry-fermenting for 48 hours, soaking in clean water for four hours, and drying in a single layer in the shade for five days with mucilage intact, followed by sun-drying until reaching ~11% moisture content. This limited lot of only 120 kg offers an exceptionally complex cup with notes of florals, tropical fruits, and tamarind, showcasing the innovative micro-lot creation by Tamiru and Alo Coffee
