good burr

i did this upgrade and i don't regret it, my espresso grains are more fine and its takes half the time to grind the same grams of coffee. i recommend it!

Perfect Upgrade

After an impressive 2,000+ espresso servings, the burr set in my hand grinder finally wore out and needed replacement. The staff at 8oz made sure the newly re-designed and updated burr set would fit my "original" TimeMore C2 from 2019. And that it did. In fact, once dialled in, the new titanium coated burrs leave 3-4 additional adjustment steps open to go even finer if needed. The grind produced is easily fine enough, and appears nicely uniform and consistent.
Note that the standard burr set in newer versions of the C2 does not grind fine enough for espresso. Well worth the upgrade if espresso is your thing!
